HAPPY KUKAWEEN!

The robot inspired P3/07 KUKA III in all its orange glory

There are three rules to robotics:

A robot may not injure a human being or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.

A robot must obey orders given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.

A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law.

SEVENFRIDAY’s robot inspired P3/07 KUKA III introduces a fourth rule; A robot must be a stone cold badass!

The KUKA I and II were massively popular additions to the incredibly desirable P-series, selling out of their limited runs of 760 pieces each in record time.

We have a feeling here at SEVENFRIDAY that when the KUKA III goes on sale worldwide this October 31st it will follow in the mechanical footsteps of its ancestors.

So many touches are a nod to the KUKA III’s automaton roots, like the black animation ring that’s grooved with the gripper like extensions on the end of a robot’s arms.

Resplendent in orange like the previous iterations, it’s a lifestyle piece that makes a statement… “I feel alive!”. (Not incidentally the closing scene of Short Circuit 2, sequel to the 80’s robot classic)

We’re pretty sure that looking down at the KUKA III will make its lucky owner feel pretty alive too, and that’s what we care about here at SEVENFRIDAY.

Feel alive, live SEVENFRIDAY!
